My Top 5 Favorite Lipsticks for the Winter season

Today I’ve decided it’s time for a new beauty post on my blog and I wanted to talk about something that I’m sure we all love… lipsticks! I have a serious addiction to lipsticks and I honestly don’t know exactly how many lipsticks I have right now. And you know what? There’s always room for more.

 

Whenever I’m in a beauty shop I just can’t stop myself from buying a new shade, because I always find a new color that I don’t have and it’s way too gorgeous to leave it there. For my post today, I’ve decided to show you 5 of my favorite lipsticks for the cold season, showing you exactly which shade I have. I hope you like them!

1. MAC – Satin Media A45

There’s a real love story between this lipstick and me, because I’ve searched for this particular shade for many, many months and finally in my trip to Germany I’ve found it and obviously I had to buy it.

It’s a dark burgundy shade that will make you stand out instantly and I’m so happy with it because it lasts a lot my lips. You can easily eat, drink, kiss and this shade is still going to be on your lips, even after 5 hours. Awesome, isn’t it?

2. Clarins – Joli Rouge 723

First of all, you have to know that this lipstick has a dreamy raspberry smell that I totally love. This gorgeous lipstick also has a special meaning for me, because I’ve bought it in my trip to Barcelona, a city that’s really close to my heart.

Joli Rouge comes with a shiny pink shade that goes really well on my lips, making them look softer and even more alluring. It’s a shade that you can easily wear at your job, because it’s not too strong either.

3. Avon – Joie

This shade was actually a limited edition for Christmas and I’m one of the lucky owners. A lot of people have asked me about it and I was so surprised when I found out that it’s no longer available but I’m sure you can find something that looks a bit similar to this shade.

It’s a cool purple shade, not too strong, not too light, which looked great even in the warm days of autumn and it’s perfect for winter as well. It lasts a few hours on your lips and it makes them look very healthy and soft.

4. Catrice – On The Pink Side Of Life 390

I’ve bought this matte and nude shade from my trip to Germany last month and from the very first time I’ve tried it I fell in love with it. The nude shade is combined with a little pink and I think it fits me perfectly, especially when you match it with a smokey eye makeup.

I wear it very often in my daily make-ups, because it’s a delicate hue that just looks great!

5. Astor – Matte Style Lip Lacquer, 4346

Last but not least, this gorgeous shade from Astor is something you all should have. It has the consistency of a lip gloss and it’s quite liquid, but when you’ll apply it on your lips you will fall for it instantly.

It will last for 4-5 hours and another thing that I love about this shade is that when there’s a lot of light, it looks like a strong pink, but when there’s less light, it will look almost like a red shade on your lips. It’s awesome!
