Last day in Dubrovnik

All good things come to an end, and today I’m afraid I’ll have to share with you my last post from the amazing Dubrovnik, a city that seems to never sleep, filled with so many tourists, day and night, street performers, musicians, and so many lovely little cafes, restaurants and terraces, where you might want to stay all day long.

My last day was pretty laid back, without any chic looks, or chasing those picture-perfect spots, without too many people. I’ve just grabbed the first pair of shorts I’ve found in my luggage, a cozy crop top and a hat, because the sun was scorching hot and forced me to have it with me all the time.

We’ve seen many interesting parts of Dubrovnik already, but we’ve saved the best for last: walking on the city’s huge fortified walls, an experience that’s amazing and a little bit scary if you ask me 🙂 I was really excited about this tour, but as we arrived up there, I’ve noticed it was as crowded as the streets below, and since the path was pretty narrow, it was even more difficult to move around.

I’ve tried to keep my calm, because we didn’t manage to take too many decent photos up there, and not because the views weren’t incredible, but because all those tourists were pretty rude, and couldn’t wait a few seconds until you took a proper shot. That was pretty annoying, but you should expect something like that in a town as popular and crowded as Dubrovnik.
