Last adventure in London

Hey guys… A new week has just started and it seems Monday has caught me with a big nostalgia about my trip to London. I already dream of getting back there as soon as possible!

Nothing beautiful lasts, as my mom always said, and that’s exactly how I feel about my trip to London. I’ve spent 6 days there but they went by so quickly that it felt like only one or two 🙂 But all those days were amazing and now that I’m back home I have a ton of memories and lot of information about so many things from our history.

One day in particular was absolutely magical, with perfect weather for London, at least for the middle of February. I visited the charming Tower Bridge and I even saw its engine room but the thing I liked the most was the Tower Bridge Experience where you get to walk on a glass floor on top of the bridge, seeing River Thames and the lower part of the bridge right under my feet. It was a little scary, but so much fun.

Then I’ve been to another important landmark from London, the imposing Tower of London, that was a palace, armory, prison and even a zoo in the past. Now it’s a beautiful museum where you can see probably a part of the Crown Jewels. Interesting, right?

From the Tower of London we took a 10 minutes walk to another great building which had a big impact on me. I’m talking about The Monument, which was built to commemorate the Great Fire of London and to celebrate the rebuilding of the city.

I climbed 311 steps to get to the top of the Monument from where you have a great view of the Tower Bridge and everything around it, but it was crazy windy there and I couldn’t even take a proper photo. When I turned back downstairs I was really happy because I’ve received a cool certificate which mentions that I’ve climbed 311 steps up and down. My feet hurt, but it was all worth it 🙂

My last stop was at the stunning St Paul’s cathedral where I was pretty speechless when I got inside… it’s so huge and the interior is absolutely amazing, you must see it yourselves!

Hope you’ve like my experience from London and thanks for being with me at every step.

My outfit here: Zara jacket, H&M dress and scarf, Furla Spybag, black boots.

  1. Si mie mi-a fost putin frica, ma ametea apa cand ma uitam in jos :)) dar rezistenta sticle este foarte mare, mai ales la traficul de persoane care era acolo 🙂 :*
