The beauties of Milan 1

The Beauties of Milan

When my Fashion Week adventure in Milan has ended, I could finally enjoy every corner of this beautiful city, and… I had an entire day to do that 🙂 I know it’s not too much, but if you start early, and make a plan, you could see every major attraction in Milan in just a day, and you’ll even have time for a couple of breaks, to enjoy some good Italian pasta, a coffee or a cocktail. It was a busy day for me, but I loved every moment of it and I had so much fun.

As I’ve said earlier, you need to start really early, especially if you want to take some good photos without too many people 🙂 Milan is probably one of the most crowded cities I’ve ever been to, and if you don’t want photos with thousands and thousands of people behind you, you’ll need to get up and going really early.

That’s exactly what I’ve done, and at 8 am I was already in front of the Duomo, and even then there were a few people around, but that was acceptable 🙂 I’ve managed to take some lovely shots in front of the dome, and I also caught the sunrise there, which was an absolutely gorgeous sight 😀

But what I liked even more was feeding the pigeons, right in front of the Duomo. It’s good to be prepared with a little bit of food if you want to do that, and it’s so exciting when all of them surround you and they try to get the food right from your hand. They’re a little bit shy at first, but then they just stick around until you have nothing left… I’d love to do this every day if I could 🙂

After a lot of fun moments in front of the Milan cathedral, we’ve moved on to the gorgeous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the world’s oldest shopping malls and probably one of the most incredible as well. It’s such an amazing place to be, and you’ll feel completely mesmerized by the unique structure that’s 140 years old right now.

Once again, this place is extremely crowded all day long, and if you want to take some proper shots, you need to be here really early 🙂 I hope you like these shots and stick around, because I’ll have another post for you from Milan next week.
