The charming Karlovy Vary 1

Karlovy Vary, a fairy tale town

A few months ago I’ve seen an awesome photo on Instagram with a charming place, filled with colorful buildings and surrounded by forests, and of course, I’ve asked my boyfriend where it is, because I’d love to go there 😀 As I’ve told you many times, my bf is like Google Maps; you just tell him something or show him some place and he will surely find it for you 🙂 I know my baby rocks ha ha 😀

Well, he told me that the place is called Karlovy Vary (or Carlsbad) and it’s actually a spa town located in the Czech Republic, that’s very close from Prague. So without further ado, we decided to include it in our trip, and after a few days spent in Prague, we were on our way to this beautiful town.

When we arrived there I was completely mesmerized by this place; all those grand buildings, with an amazing architecture and lovely colors, the fresh air, the calm sounds of the river, and all those trees, made me feel like I’m in some sort of fairy tale. Trust me, Karlovy Vary is even more incredible when you get to see it with your own eyes.

Most of the buildings from the old town are practically high-end hotels, luxury shops and fancy resturants, but this charming little town is historically famous for its hot springs, that have many health benefits. Karlovy Vary has 15 main springs spread around town, with different healing properties, plus around 300 smaller springs, and even the warm water Tepla River has curative powers as well.

That’s why people from all over the world come here and the town became one of the world’s most incredible spa retreats. I felt a bit sad, because our country has many lovely spa towns that could have been just like Karlovy Vary, but they haven’t evolved at all, or even worse, some of them have become a ruin 🙁

But let’s get back to this magical town and allow me to show you how beautiful this place really is. Of course, I had to wear something very special for my first day in town and I had just the perfect outfit for it – a gorgeous set from Victoria Sava, that turned a lot of heads on the streets 🙂

I hope you like it just as much as I did 🙂 Have a great weekend guys :*
