Follow me to Dubrovnik 1

Follow me through the amazing Dubrovnik

After many scorching hot days, today I finally woke up with the sound of raindrops in my window, and it was sooo nice πŸ˜€ So I took my laptop and a big cup of coffee and I went right on the balcony, where the fresh air, the flowers and the sound of rain created the perfect atmosphere for me to write this special post for you πŸ™‚

We’ve spent three wonderful days in Bosnia, and they went by so fast, but our next destination was supposed to be even more incredible and I couldn’t wait to get there. After a few hours driving on a scenic road, right next to the Adriatic Sea, we finally arrived in Dubrovnik, a charming old town that’s recognized as the Pearl of the Adriatic, for good reason.

We arrived there in the evening, and since it was pretty late to take a few photos, we’ve just decided to go for a quick stroll around the old town, to discover this gorgeous place a little bit, and I really don’t know if I can find the right words to describe how beautiful it is. Everywhere you turn your head you’ll find a picture-perfect setting, and it’s no surprise so many movies have been filmed here, including Game of Thrones.

But the entire city is so crowded and filled with thousands and thousands of tourists that it’s almost impossible to capture all its beauty. We knew that we had to wake up really early if we wanted to take a few proper shots, and I found just the right place to do that, from the old fort and the pontoon next to it, which offers some of the best views of this magical fortress, and from a secret spot above the old town πŸ™‚

My look for the first photoshoot in this charming city was one of my favorites ever, and I must thank the girls from Almaaz CoutureΒ for designing this amazing dress specially for me, which turned a lot of heads on the streets and captured so many smiles :D. It was the perfect item to wear in this breathtaking setting, and it was also a great choice for those hot summer days πŸ™‚

I don’t even know if you’re still reading this right now, so I’d better stop right here and let these awesome photos do the rest of the talking for me, because this place and this eye catching ethereal dress will definitely make you daydream about old stories with fortresses and princesses. Enjoy πŸ˜€
